Dramatic and superbly sophisticated, this style is classic sixties. From the red velveteen pillbox hat to the white satin-lined flared red coat, this is one not-to-be-missed vintage Barbie fashion.
This VINTAGE Red Flare outfit is complete and includes a coat, hat, handbag, gloves, and shoes (#939, 1962-1965). The shoes are not stamped "Japan", however we got this in a lot with a doll, case, and other clothing, all from the early '60s. (Probably one owner only, considering the excellent condition of everything.) Original black/white Barbie tag in the coat as shown. Doll is not included.
The only issues that keep this set from being perfect mint are a teeny "pull" in one of the gloves, a faint "line" on the other glove, and a little bit of minor fraying on the coat sleeve hems. I think you would need to find this outfit still in its original packaging to find something this nice.
