Bubble cut Barbie was produced 1961-1966. Based on my research, I believe this doll was made in 1963. Keeping in mind that I'm a hobbyist collector and not an expert, I would call her condition near-mint. One of the nicest I've found!
All her makeup and fingernail polish looks like mint to me. This beautiful Barbie has no "swingy" limbs, no green ear, no bite marks, etc. Shows just a little gently-played-with-surface scratching which is normal for a doll of this age. Her hair is flattened on the back from storage and she needs a good cleaning. There are two very small (pin-point size) dots on her upper right and mid left back thighs. I haven't tried to remove them. (We do not clean/wash vintage dolls or clothing.)
Her right foot is stamped "Japan" and her bum reads: "Midge™ ©1962 Barbie® ©1958 by Mattel Inc. She will be shipped wearing her red helenca swimsuit as shown.
