HTF (hard to find), Crisp 'n' Cool (#1604, 1964-1965)! This stylish outfit is just perfect for a downtown business luncheon or a day of shopping uptown! A slim red sheath skirt is topped by a white sleeveless blouse with red stich detailing, three red buttons, and an attached red dotted ascot. (Original white Barbie tag as shown.) The matching white fabric bag has shiny red vinyl handles. This set also comes with white open-toe pumps. Doll is not included.
The only thing that keeps me from calling this set "mint" is a very faint stain on one side of the purse. Also, the white (both blouse and bag) has "yellowed" slightly with time. Otherwise, this set is in excellent condition. Missing are the white short tricot gloves. I do not know if the shoes are original. We purchased this set as part of a larger lot (we think one owner only) which included a doll, case, and other clothing, all from the early 60s.
Unless otherwise noted, we do not wash or otherwise alter vintage items. We are a non-smoking household, however we do not know about previous owners. I am sensitive to odors and will disclose any unpleasant odors in my description.
