Barbie's little sister, Skipper, was first introduced in 1964 and came in three hair colors: blonde, brunette, and redhead (sometimes called "titian"). This pretty vintage Skipper doll only has a few flaws that I could find: red staining on upper thighs (probably from swimsuit since you only see it when doll is nude) and a small teal spot on the back of her right ankle. There is also a slight blue shading on a couple of places on the back of her legs.
Her limbs are not "swingy," her makeup is nice, and her hair is beautiful. Swimsuit has some loose threads and an ink (?) mark on the back left side. Everything needs a good cleaning. (We do not clean/wash vintage dolls or clothing.) Not mint, but I think this is a nice display doll.
Her right foot is stamped "Japan" and her bum reads: "SKIPPER ©1963 Mattel Inc." Doll will be shipped in her original swimsuit with red flat shoes, white brush and comb set, brass headband, stand, "Junior Edition" Styles for Skipper booklet, and box. Box shows wear with one torn corner but still good condition considering age.
