Did Mattel ever make anything cuter than the Tutti doll? I mean...just look at her! How could you resist that sweet face? That said...this cute little girl has issues. Overall, she's in decent shape, compared to many I've seen, but...well...she has issues.
First, the good stuff. Tutti's makeup is good and her fingers and toes are all present and accounted for. Her hair is nice...just needs to be washed and restyled (i.e., no missing plugs, doesn't appear to be cut, etc.). Her outfit has no rips or tears but there are a few minor stains. (We do not clean/wash vintage dolls or clothing.)
Now for the "issues." There is a small hole between her first and second fingers on her right hand. The wire across her shoulders appears to be broken (i.e., usually both arms rise by moving just one). Wires in both her arms are fine; her arms are poseable. The wire from her left leg is missing and the one in her right leg doesn't bend correctly. She has a little green on her upper right back arm and also on the inside of her right leg. You can see a little (light) green on the front of her right ankle. Based on my research, I think doll restoration peeps know how to remove the green and can replace wires.
Mattel manufactured Tutti from 1966-1976 but she was only available in the U.S. until 1971. A blonde Tutti was sold until 1976 in Canada and Europe. This Tutti's back reads: "©1965 Mattel, Inc. She will be shipped wearing her pink and white swimsuit with matching hat as shown. With a little TLC, this Tutti would make a nice display doll.
Sorry, but at this time, we do not ship dolls to our international customers.
