A gala evening on the town calls for a spectacular ensemble, and Barbie wears the ultimate in late 50s glamour--the bubble dress! This elaborate fashion, known as Gay Parisienne, was offered only in 1959.
This is the sixth in a series of ornaments celebrating Barbie through the years, sometimes referred to as the "retro" series. Beautifully detailed "Collector's Series" ornament sculpted by Patricia Andrews. MIB (Mint in Box) condition from non-smoking household.
