Between modeling assignments, Barbie visits top fashion houses to present her own designs. She's dressed for success in a smartly tailored red jacket and slim skirt. The red and white striped pattern of her blouse is repeated on the jacket lining and the brim of her blue hat. Open-toed shoes and a narrow belt echo the accent of blue.
Based on the 1960-1961 Barbie Busy Gal fashion, this ornament set includes two pieces: a Barbie figurine and a portfolio ornament, which opens to show the fashion sketches.
This beautiful "Collector's Series" Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is the 8th in a series of designs celebrating Barbie through the years, sometimes referred to as the "retro" Barbie series. Wonderful details sculpted by Anita Marra Rogers, this MIB (Mint in Box) ornament and box is from a non-smoking household.
