SHIPPING INFORMATION
* * * * * * IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS * * * * * *
USPS changed rates in January 2013. As of June 2013, our web host, Network Solutions, still will not make site adjustments necessary for us to offer USPS International First Class "Large Envelope" as an option. Because of this, your shipping will likely be too high (you will be charged at the "parcel" rate instead of "large envelope"). If you are charged more than a modest packaging/handling rate plus actual postage at checkout, we will issue a partial refund after your package has been prepared for mailing (i.e., weighed). Our apologies for this inconvenience.
All Customers:
In most cases, orders are processed and shipped in 2-3 business days. Orders received on Friday-Saturday-Sunday are usually mailed on Tuesday. (Time of day your order is received is the determining factor.) We need time to prepare your package, so we do not offer next-day delivery. Please note: "Business days" excludes holidays. In case of extreme acts of nature, such as hurricanes; or tropical storms, we will communicate with you and send your order as quickly as circumstances allow.
You will get an email with delivery confirmation or customs information when your order has been sent. We ship from 33709 (St. Petersburg, FL).
We offer USPS First Class and USPS Priority Mail as standard domestic-shipping options. We may use other services such as UPS or FedEx at our discretion, depending on weight/size of package.
All orders totaling $250(+) will be sent "signature required." Other orders may be sent "signature required" at our discretion. Insurance is at our discretion. (Our customers do not pay additional fees for any of these services.)
US Customers:
Use pull-down menu to select Regular or Priority USPS Shipping.
First Class Mail domestic shipping charges, including handling/packaging:
* Order Total up to $44.99 = $3.89
* Order Total $45.00(+) = FREE SHIPPING
Priority Mail domestic shipping charges, including handling/packaging, is by weight:
* $4.89 + $1.00 each pound
Additional information regarding "Free Shipping"
* PLEASE NOTE: If your order totals $45.00 or more and you select "Priority Mail", you will be charged for shipping when you check out. If you want Free Shipping, you must select First Class "Free Shipping" option.
International Customers:
Shipping for your order is based on actual postage (by weight) plus $1.59 handling/packaging. If we can send your package for less than you are charged at checkout, we will reimburse the difference between actual postage and $1.59 (approx). Canada customers please note: For some reason, shipping seems to be calculating higher at checkout. As noted, we DO reimburse you if this happens on your order. Please do not ask us to declare your order as a "gift" or falsify the value on the customs form. (It is illegal for us to do this.) We have no control over postal regulations in your country so you will be responsible for any and all fees your country may charge.
Please note: As of January 2013, in most cases, international first class shipping has been ringing up too high on our checkout. We WILL refund if this is the case on your order.
Barbie Boutique Customers:
Due to the size/weight and extra packaging required to ensure safe shipping of our dolls, there may be an additional shipping/handling charge associated with your purchase. We state this amount in each Barbie Boutique item description. If we are able to send your doll(s) for less than our checkout system charges you (actual postage plus a modest amount for packaging), we will issue you a partial refund after your order has been processed for mailing. Sorry but at this time, we do not ship dolls outside the U.S.
All Customers:
We do our best to keep our shipping/handling charges reasonable. Please keep in mind that it costs us more than actual postage to send your package. Your order may include bubble wrap, packing slip, poly bubble envelope, box, packing tape, shipping label, etc. We pay delivery confirmation, signature required, and insurance costs.
